So..after voting Yes time for some action!

Ryanair has taken out full page ads in the national press condemning Gordon
Brown for increasing air passenger duty and urging people to email Gordon
Brown to object to the increase in APD. Conveniently Michael O'Leary
provides the email address to write to:
ministers@hm-treasury.gsi.gov.uk.

I would encourage you to send the precisely the opposite message to this same email address.

Please put the words "Aviation must pay its full environmental costs"
in the 'Subject' box and email to say that Gordon Brown's recent increase in
Air Passenger Duty did not go nearly far enough.
Please help make O'Leary's message backfire by sending this one-liner to

ministers@hm-treasury.gsi.gov.uk

It will only take a minute. Thanks.

Taxing on Air Travel

Hey! I am not surprised to see a 100% Yes vote on the poll (because we are all interested in sustainability and understand the issues). However, I think there is a large public feeling that it should be taxed but the problem is who tax's air travel first. Someone (or country) needs to take a lead and just go for it despite the affects it will have on economic competition. We all know it needs to be done and when one country takes a lead, other countries will have to follow. So lets hope one of the politians takes the courage!
