Sure the world is full of
projects to get involved with, well we’ve just found you some more!
Creative Corners works in
Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and Guatemala and
specialises in projects to appeal to creative and performing artists,
enthusiasts & teachers. Working with kids, living in families & host
communities ...and 100 % of their profits are donated to associated charity Arts for Change to
set up music and arts centres in orphanages and homes
for disadvantaged, abused and abandoned children in the areas where the
projects are based.
Though we don’t know anything about them save what we read on their website
www.creative-corners.com, it all
sounds very Bello to us, and realistically described. Even the prices are good,
from £600 for 2 months in a project in Bolivia (excluding flights, of course).
Have a look yourselves, and get in touch with founder Monique Julian via their
contact links.
While we’re here, let’s share this link too: Arts Festivals in South
America listed on the site of ISIC, the Student Travel body... They’ve got long
lists for other regions too, not exhaustive but stimulating!
