Your latest
chance to rub noses and more with exotic tribes in their natural habitat comes
from tour operators offering "unprecedented access" to the Harlem
hip-hop culture. The tour includes "meet and greet" sessions with
hip-hop artists in recording studios and clubs, as well as a tour of the
legendary Apollo Theater. Participants ride in stretch Hummer limousines.
(Shame about that, but they're at least culturally typical).
"Until now, the
Harlem hip-hop scene was considered unchartered [sic] territory for residents
and would-be travellers to New York City," said H3 Tours in a news
release. "H3 Tours removes fears, stereotypes, and access barriers to
offer hip-hop enthusiasts from all walks of life a rare opportunity for a safe
and unique Harlem experience," the release added.
The tour includes lessons in hip-hop
dancing (whatever they think that is).
...whether, umm, “chronic blunts”
are included we don't know.
